Buy Your Stamps Now: Prices Will Increase This Summer

According to the USPS announcement, these price increases are due to ongoing changes in the mail and delivery market and “these price adjustments are necessary to achieve the financial stability sought by the organization Shipping to America 10-year plan’.

How much are the prices of brands rising?
The price increase depends on which postal service you are looking for. The USPS has announced price increases for at least six postal services, with more to be announced. So far the new prices are:

The USPS has indicated that it wants price changes for “special service products, including certified mail and money order fees,” though it did not specify what those price changes would be. Mailbox rental fees will remain the same.
The April 9 press release indicated that no changes are being made to shipping rates, but we’ll update this story if the USPS releases more rate changes.

When will this change take effect?
If you want to get stamps or send mail at the current price, you’ll need to do so before July 14, 2024. So you have just under two months to fulfill your postal needs before prices increase this summer.
