Dream home Host Chris Brown dropped a bombshell on Sunday night’s episode, revealing what contestants must do to win the coveted $100,000 on their mortgage.
The Dream Home team is about to leave Queensland for Sydney to renovate the final two homes.
Once that’s done, the bottom three in the standings will have a bye.

The top three finalists’ scores will be reset to zero — and they’ll have to complete one final refresh task.
With Taylor and Elle, Lara and Peter, Rhys and Liam, Jacinta and Jordan, Hannah and Jonny and Brad and Mel gathered, Chris explained what would happen once all six homes were completed.
“With only two houses left, I guess you’re wondering how exactly you’re going to fight off $100,000 of your mortgage, right?” he said, to unanimous nods.
“The top three ranked couples will face each other in one final epic renewal.
“Your scores will be reset and the final three teams will battle it out to create the one thing that completes the Aussie dream home – the great Aussie backyard.”
“However, unlike your dream houses, the top three teams will battle from their own homes and create their own dream backyards.
“And if you’re the highest scoring couple in the backyard, you win the grand prize of $100,000 off your mortgage.”
This led to excited laughter and nervous sighs among the couples.
“Hold me,” Jacinta said grabbing her partner Jordan’s hand as Johnny bent over laughing as Hannah squeezed him.
“We’re determined next week to smash it,” Liam said in a separate on-camera interview. “We need that backyard and Rhys needs that $100,000.”
“First, second or third, it doesn’t really matter,” added Peter. “We just have to make sure we’re in the top three.”
