Emergency services were called to Sydney Marina after a motor yacht burst into flames this morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene near Birkenhead Marina at 10am after a boat burst into flames, Fire and Rescue NSW said.
The boat was moored under the bridge at Iron Cove, between Rozelle and Drummoyne.
The first crews arrived at the scene at 10.12am and boarded a NSW police boat to get to the fire, Fire and Rescue NSW said.
A water pump was used to direct water to the flames.
A total of five fire crews were dispatched with 18 firefighters working from the ground and water to extinguish the blaze.
By 11 a.m., the fire was under control.
A man who was a worker on the boat was treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation before being released.
The yacht is now being towed to the west side of the marina to be properly extinguished.
It was understood that the flames had died down, but it was still smoldering.
