Family heartbreak after four-year-old drowns in Melbourne swampland

The family of a beloved four-year-old boy who died after drowning in the waters of the marshes in Melbourne he was remembered as a “fun-loving” child with a “big smile.”
Ali Aminzada was playing at a family member’s house in Officer when he went missing yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Lagoon Row at around 5pm after Ali was found passed out in the water.
The four-year-old died on the spot.
A family spokesperson told 9News they were visiting relatives in Officer after traveling down from Swan Hill.
The spokesperson said Ali is always running around and has just started kindergarten.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
