Human remains were found when crossing a river in ACT.
A member of the community reported the discovery to police who attended the scene near the northern end of the Point Hut Crossing on the Murrumbidgee River at around 3.45pm on Sunday.
The identity of the remains has not yet been confirmed.
Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
