Every year I find a few new ways to use it air fryer. It never ceases to amaze me how well and quickly the food cooks in the fryer and how easy it is to clean up afterwards. As with many species fishsalmon does well with high heat to give a crust on the outer layer without burning through the middle, and air fryers are designed to do just that. What’s more, your air fryer basket will hold the fish better than most cooking appliances, mitigating some of the fishy smell.
Preheating the fryers only takes a few minutes, so if you’re whipping up a quick dinner for one or two, cooking salmon in the fryer is an ace up your sleeve. Air fryers too costs less to operate and they use less energy than large ovens and don’t create a greasy mess like grilling salmon on the stove.
To make perfect salmon in your fryer, you’ll need olive oil and a sauce or seasoning — that’s it. Your flavoring agent can be in the form of a dry rub or marinade, store-bought or homemade. You can also keep the recipe simple with salt, pepper, fresh herbs and a squeeze of lemon on top. Adaptations of this salmon fryer recipe can get you through many busy dinners without having to resort to expensive and often unhealthy I bring out.
