A photo of the mangled body of Shani, 22, in the back of a pick-up truck ricocheted around the world and exposed the scale of the extremists’ attack on communities in southern Israel.
The military identified the other two bodies found as those of a 28-year-old woman, Amit Buskila, and a 56-year-old man, Yitzhak Gelerenter.
The military did not provide immediate details on where their bodies were found.
Hamas-led militants killed around 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapped around 250 others in the October 7 attack.
About half of them have since been released, most in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel during a week-long ceasefire in November.
Israel says about 100 hostages are still being held captive in Gaza, along with the bodies of about 30 others.
Israel’s campaign in Gaza since the attack has killed more than 35,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza health officials.
