Washington Police have arrested a man who was allegedly involved in a fight at the Westfield Carousel shopping center in Perth.
The center was locked down around 3.30pm on Friday after a fight broke out between two men.
Today, the police detained a man they were looking for during the night.
Police said that although one of the men involved was armed with a knife, it was not used to injure anyone.
A 20-year-old man was punched and later taken to hospital for treatment of head injuries.
Police previously said three men were involved in the incident, but today said they were only looking for one outstanding person, apart from the injured 20-year-old.
Police said the extraordinary man was arrested today.
The police also confirmed that a knife was secured in the shopping center yesterday.
It is not yet known if the men already knew each other.
Cannington detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
