Man killed in single-vehicle crash with billboard and tree in South Grafton

A man has died after crashing into a billboard and a tree in the north of the city New South Wales.
Emergency services responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on Big River Way, South Grafton around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday.
A 25-year-old man – who was the driver and sole passenger – died at the scene before emergency crews arrived.

Officers have secured the crime scene and are awaiting the arrival of specialist police, a NSW Police spokesman said.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area with traffic diversions expected to remain for a “significant period of time”.
Anyone who witnessed the incident – or has dashcam or cell phone footage available – is urged to contact the Grafton Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
A medical examiner’s report will be prepared.
