Ryan Grafton, 30, was killed when another car crashed into the carpool he was traveling in around 2:15 a.m. last Tuesday.
A man in a stolen car allegedly ran a red light and plowed into an Uber on Boundary Road in Wacol in Brisbane’s south-west.
His girlfriend Amelia Vinden, 26, and Uber driver Hussain Ali Mohammed, 46, were injured in the crash.
Police have today released a picture of Kai Fursey, who they want to speak to about the crash.
There is also video footage showing a figure running down the street, allegedly fleeing the scene of the fatal crash.
Grafton’s sister asked Fursey to come out and surrender to the police.
“If you have an ounce of decency, turn yourself in,” Lauren Bennett said.
“…do the right thing for our family, give us some closure.”
The public is being warned not to approach Fursey and instead call the police if they see him.
