Vladimir Putin should remove Sergei Shoigu as Defense Minister and appoint him Secretary of the National Security Council of Russia.
The Russian president proposed the appointment of Andrei Belousov to replace Shoigu, who had been the defense minister for years.
The move comes as Putin begins his fifth term as president and the war in Ukraine drags into its third year.
In accordance with Russian law, the entire Russian cabinet resigned on Tuesday after Putin’s glittering inauguration at the Kremlin.
