Police are searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run that left a man seriously injured in Melbourne’s north-east.
A blue Toyota Camry is believed to have hit a pedestrian on Settlement Road in Thomastown about 11.15pm yesterday, police said.
The pedestrian, a 36-year-old man from Hampton Park, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The driver did not stop at the scene and continued westbound on Settlement Road,” police said.
Police believe the car is a light blue Toyota Camry sedan with some damage to the right headlight.
