That’s because Sony Days of Play Sale is still active, with the console maker slashing the price of the next-gen device by $50. Available at Amazon and Best Buy, the PS5 Slim can currently be selected from only $399 right now.
These PlayStation deals are available on both the PS5 Slim digital edition and the one that comes with a disc drive for those who prefer to play physically rather than download them through PSN.
The digital edition is the cheapest option at $399 on Amazonas Best Buy offers same $50 savings. Just be aware that you’ll be limited to downloading your games instead of swiping a disc. This means the days of trading in your old games are over, although it does mean you won’t have to find a game every time you want to play it, and we all know the game you want is never there anyway in the correct box.
If you prefer your media in physical form, you can get the disc drive-equipped model for $50 more. Right now it comes down to $449 at Amazon and $450 at Best Buywhich is less than its retail price of $500.
