Two people charged after man in wheelchair allegedly stabbed at home in Perth

Two people are accused of violence Perth home invasion where a man was allegedly stabbed and knocked from his wheelchair on Saturday.
She was also a woman allegedly assaulted during what is believed to have been an online marketplace sale that turned ugly at a home in Thornley, in the south-east of the city. The 50-year-old woman suffered an arm injury.
Police said one of the accused, a woman, arrived at the property on Bremer Pl just before 11am and after a brief conversation with the two occupants burst inside armed with a firearm.
“The male occupant suffered a stab wound to his neck and during the struggle with the female, he became separated from his wheelchair,” police said.
“During the incident, a second offender – a male – entered the residence armed with what was believed to be a pickaxe. A third person, a man, was also present at the time.
Help was sought from a neighbor and the residents were taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police revealed Tuesday that a 37-year-old Mount Pleasant man and a 27-year-old Huntingdale woman have been charged with aggravated burglary and aggravated burglary, aggravated armed robbery, unlawful wounding and assault causing bodily harm.
