An unborn baby died and six people were injured in a two-car crash in Ipswich.
Queensland Police said the Toyota Rav4 and Toyota Hilux were traveling in opposite directions when they crashed on Ipswich Boonah Road in Purga about 5.45pm on Thursday.
A total of six people – three in each car – were taken to hospital.
They included a 25-year-old pregnant woman who was a passenger in the Toyota Hilux and was taken to Ipswich Hospital with serious injuries. Police said her unborn baby died as a result of the crash.
The forensics department is investigating.
Anyone with information, including dash cam visibility, is asked to contact police.
