A woman was sexually assaulted while walking down a street in a West Central Victoria town on Wednesday morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the attack, which happened at around 6.30am as the woman made her way along Epping St in Kyneton.
They said the man was not known to the victim.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been established and investigations are ongoing,” police said.
